Sauvignon Blanc Reviews and Awards
Peter’s Picks, Thirst
“Quite potent and gusty style, a fairly dry, strong-willed wine to fit better with food than without. Good balance, plenty of fruit weight in behind and fine drinking into 2012-13. A style to suit the lovers of big sauvignons.” Michael
Cooper’s Buyer’s Guide to New Zealand Wines 2010
“The 2009 vintage has an array of fresh, pure fruit flavours – passionfruit, melon, capsicum and lime. It’s a very youthful, slightly minerally wine with good intensity and a lingering, finely balanced finish.”
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit 91 points
“Ripe and fragrant, this classic Sauvignon shows ripe passionfruit, lime zest and a hint of stonefruit characters. The palate is juicy and full-flavoured showing excellent acidity and a lively long finish.”

Summerhouse Sauvignon Blanc
Fresh, tangy edge with mouth-watering tropical and citrus flavours. A classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
Tasting Notes

Uplifted perfume of exotic Pacific fruits, flowers and hints of lime zest. The palate is packed full of fresh, juicy vibrant flavours and a wonderful texture. The citrus and tropical fruit flavours linger on the firm acid finish.
Selections of vines were managed to produce eight individual harvest parcels that were used to craft this Summerhouse Sauvignon Blanc.
Specially selected yeast strains were used in the free run and first pressed juice. The ferments were kept cool to retain the fruit and aromatics and flavours. The wine rested on lees before being racked, gently filtered and bottled.
