Dry Riesling Review and Awards
Michael Cooper's Buyer's Guide to New Zealand Wines 2010
"Estate grown and hand-picked, the 2009 vintage is full-bodied, fresh and very youthful, with good depth of lemony, appley, slightly spicy flavours. It carries the dry style well. Open mid 2010+."

Summerhouse Dry Riesling
Vibrant and alive with intense lemon, lime and honey flavours with appetising acidity.
The dry style captures summer and the purity of fruit flavours.

This aromatic Dry Rielsing from the cool climates of New Zealand, is packed full of aromas of citrus flowers, lemons, limes and spices. On the palate, the firm acidity moves the lemon, honey and spice flavours to every corner of your mouth leaving and wonderful strong dry finish. Light, bright and pale in colour with a hint of green.
Two clones of Riesing are grown at Summerhouse: GM110 and GM198-19. This vintage is the first harvest from these vines.
The fruit was carefully hand picked and whole bunch pressed to ensure purity of flavour. Specially selected yeast strains were used in the free run and first pressed juice. The ferments were kept cool to retain the fruit aromatics and flavours. The wine rested on less before being racked, gently filtered and bottled.
